There is no doubt in my mind that in the year 2014, the Shanghai Tower
J-Hotel will be heralded as Beijing’s crowning achievement,
as it will
stand tall at a staggering 2,073 feet tall and will have the distinction of
being not only the highest hotel in the world, but also the second tallest
building in the world.  Nothing short of an architectural marvel, the hotel
signifies the quantum leaps made in the A & D continuum and is a
testament to man’s constant desire to progress.

The Shanghai Tower J-Hotel is a daring architectural and engineering
composition and while some may find the whole project audacious, I
personally cannot help but admire the fortuitous imagination of those
who conceptualized it. Due to open in 2014, the Shanghai Tower J-Hotel
has been commissioned by Shanghai Tower Construction and
Development Co. Ltd and the hotel will be managed by luxury brand
“J” ,  which is a subsidiary of the  well known Shanghai Jin Jiang
International Hotel group. This famous Chinese hospitality group is seeking
to establish the Shanghai Tower J-Hotel as the Mecca of luxury and
hospitality and will work towards offering a multi-sensory experience to
the discerning globetrotter.

The Shanghai Tower J-Hotel will be in the heart of the Shanghai Tower
which is located in the central business hub of Lujiazui, Pudong and it will
contain offices, retail venues and a connection to the Shanghai Metro.
The hotel will feature 121 stories, have a total of 258 guestrooms and will
occupy floors from level 84 to 110.  When it comes to the interiors, the
hotel plans to take a harmonized design approach amalgamating
Chinese culture with western aesthetics. Expect it to be a mix of modern
minimalism and  rich classic warm tones.
The luxurious Shanghai Tower J-Hotel  brand, seeks to set new standards in
design and also establish itself as a legendary landmark in China. Each
design decision regarding the hotel articulates a sensibility that is both
traditional and modern and the functional fluidity between every floor
and every corner is magnificent. Designed to dominate the sky, , the
Shanghai Tower J-Hotel will punctuate the panoramic skyline of
Shanghai like no other skyscraper.
A TESTAMENT TO MAN'S CONSTANT
DESIRE TO PROGRESS
