no longer monotonous or lackluster. In fact it is quite common to come
across commercial spaces that show a predilection towards
non-conforming designs, which in turn seem to create a more dynamic
workspace and a stimulating environment.
Pascal Arquitectos, a formidable name in the office interiors field
recently completed the ACBC Office project and the end result is
nothing short of stunning. Emphasis was laid on creating a
contemporary office space that embraces principles of good design,
luxury and understated elegance. Hence it is no coincidence that the
project, be it the flooring, the interiors, the furnishing or the wall panels merge
harmoniously and maintain design.
To make a lasting visual statement, the architects have shown an
affinity towards natural materials like marble and wood and have used
it beautifully with contrast color tempered glass, stainless steel and
iron. This has resulted in balanced compositions of color and textures
that emit an aura of warmth without compromising on the modern look.
Rosso Levanto marble, wood trimmings and a black glass parrot that
floats showing a liquid crystal display are some other highlights of
the office.
Interestingly there is no traditional waiting lounge in the office
space. Instead the architects have gone ahead with a lounge bar, which
maintains an illusion of informality. The main operational area
consists of a large lounge with workstations that encourages fresh
thinking, hard work and dynamism. This attitude is further accentuated
by the surrounding area and furnishings, which include a mural
alluding to the company’s turnover and a cancelería glass, which
allows for the alluring play of light and shade.

The entire ACBC office is an epitome of elegance and has been designed
in complete coherence with contemporary aesthetics. It’s commendable
that Pascal Arquitectos has been able to re-invent the workspace by
bringing in a welcome sense of experimentation.
