Texan artist Geoff Hager seeks inspiration from the mesmerizing effects of
lines, shapes, design, tones and scales and his works have been catching
the eye of art connoisseurs time and time again. Hager’s style is distinctive
and his extraordinaire talent lends an air of timelessness to his works
despite them being contemporary in nature. Preferring oils, acrylics, and
watercolors over other mediums and techniques, Hager has been honored
with numerous awards.
Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Geoff Hager got his BFA degree from the
University of Texas and started his career as a freelance artist by joining
forces with local and international architects, interior designers and
developers to produce architectural renderings of buildings, commercial
spaces and landscaped properties. His clientele list is impressive and
includes stalwarts like Hilton Hotel, Bristol Development, and Simpson
Housing among others.
But it wasn’t long before Hager’s love for abstract lured him back to his
artistic roots and hence he returned to unleashing his artistic genius on
the canvas. Over the past years, Hager has created awe-inspiring paintings
and even steel sculptures for public and private spaces. Each of his
works beautifully juxtaposes simplicity of shapes with the complexity of
human existence. His work has been exhibited in galleries like; New York Art
Expo, D Art Slam, Edmund Craig Gallery.
Geoff Hager with his signature style has been winning accolades nationwide
and is also a member of the Southwest Watercolor Society, Dallas Visual
Artists and the Society of Illustrators. Geoff is represented by both local
and national galleries and corporate collections nationwide.
Thanks to his penchant for experimentation and highly technical
draftsmanship, Hager is emerging as a favorite on the contemporary art
scene.
