PALATIAL TUBS TRANSPORT YOU TO A MAGICAL ERA HISTORY, CULTURE AND LUXURY
|
For product designers, it is always an interminable challenge to master the
design palette without sacrificing the primordial properties of an
utilitarian object. French company House of Tetard-Haudidquez-Grisoni aka
THG have mastered this art and hence are responsible for exquisite
bathroom artifacts that not only enthrall the senses but also boast of quality
craftsmanship. Their stunning Palatial Baths Collection and the Arabesque
tub epitomize the THG philosophy that is “beauty, luxury and quality” and
all their products seems to promote a sense of well being wonderfully.
The Arabesque and the Palatial Baths transport you to a magical era as the
design is enmeshed in history, culture and luxury. The Arabesque tub as the
name suggests is pivoted primarily on Islamic art that involves the
application of repeating geometric forms and motifs. The repetitive motifs
signify an infinite pattern that is beyond the visible material world and
the ultimate aim is to connect with God. Catherine and Bruno Lefebvre
have designed the baroque styled Arabesque and we love how they have
incorporated backlighting to further emphasize the intricate patterns

With both the above-mentioned collections THG has been able to
advance their reputation as the purveyor of luxury and craftsmanship. All
their products emanate an enchanting aura and can accentuate any
bathroom space. The collections are a stunning symphony of traditions,
culture, art and world heritage and bring new standards in bathroom
aesthetics.
Says THG:
“As with many things in life, there are compromises to be made and
sacrifices to make. In design, the same can be said. THG is the exception
to this rule. Choosing objects of beauty, luxury, and quality is a very
personal pursuit ... and one should not be limited. “

it's freestanding tub. The Art Deco bathtub seeks inspiration from
Bernardaud’s legendary china pattern that now only one gets to see in
historic châteaus of France. The bathtub’s base is a moody black, which
only seems to further highlight the ornate bay leaf garland and gold
embellishments that have been applied by hand! It goes without saying
that those who can afford the bathtub will definitely feel like royalty
when they pamper their mind, soul and body.
